Poster Competition
For this project, I wrote the copy and executed the design for these two posters for submission in the AAFBR Poster Competition that was an annual fundraiser for the Baton Rouge Advertising Federation. Both posters were selected for the final show and sold out of prints at the event. Both were also included on a postcard for Visit Baton Rouge. The focus of the art competition was to capture the essence of Baton Rouge.
Ironman Happies
This was an annual happy that I created for the women in my triathlon training group who were preparing to compete in their first Ironman triathlon. Our group has over 100 women and each year, a new group of women trains for their first Ironman, which is a momentous occasion. Our group always makes gifts for those women. Here are two of the happiest that I created over the years. I wrote the copy and did the type treatment for these.
Magazine Articles
Over the years i've written numerous articles for magazines. This story was for LABI magazine about a group of women triathletes, the bond the group shares, and how their friendship goes beyond the sport of triathlon.

This past weekend, my oldest son kicked off his fall baseball season, a precursor to the spring, a testing ground to see what development needs to take place in the “off season”. It was a one day tournament, relatively close to home (which is critical to travel sports parents….) and amazing weather. To make it even more fun, several of our boys’ friends were also playing in the tournament in various age groups, so in between games we got to visit with them which was a great way to spend our down time.
